Match previews - Sun 6th Mar

A look ahead to Sunday's fixtures in the Barclays Premier League.

There are two key Barclays Premier League fixtures on Sunday.

First Liverpool host arch-rivals Manchester United who need to bounce back from only their second league defeat of the season.

Then Tottenham Hotspur go to Wolverhampton Wanderers who are aiming for a fourth home win of the season against top-five opposition.

Liverpool v Man Utd

Liverpool are unbeaten in their last five outings in front of their own fans while the leaders have now lost two of their last four on the road.

Sir Alex Ferguson's men will be keen to recover from their 2-1 defeat at Chelsea which has opened up the title race.

Kenny Dalglish's men will also be determined to bounce back to form after losing 3-1 at West Ham United.

United have already beaten Liverpool twice at Old Trafford this season but have lost on their last two visits to Anfield.

Wolves v Spurs

Wolves have already beaten Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City at Molineux this season and now aim to add Spurs to their list of top-five scalps.

Mick McCarthy's men have won three of their last four at home while Tottenham were disappointed to go down 3-1 at Blackpool last time out to end a run of five matches without defeat

The north London club had won four successive visits to Molineux before losing there 1-0 last season.

But they came out on top 3-1 at White Hart Lane in September thanks to late goals from Rafael van der Vaart, Roman Pavlyuchenko and Alan Hutton after Steven Fletcher had given the visitors the lead.
